It's more difficult than you could possibly imagine...
1 During the day you're completely exhausted and can't seem to get anything done because of the fatigue that accompanies depression. At night, you lie awake worrying about all the things you were not able to do during the day.
2 Anxiety constantly reminds you that there are tasks which need urgent attention and that you'll face serious problems if they're not addressed. On the other side, depression is there telling you that it doesn't really matter because you're not good at anything anyway.
3 It's caring about everything and caring about nothing at the same time. Two extreme opposites that tug at you every minute of the day.
4 The anxiety side is unrelenting in its reminders about your pain, health, finances, relationships, responsibilities, job, school, goals, unfinished projects/tasks, upcoming projects etc. The depression side saps your motivation so you don't even care.
5 It's wanting to attend functions and gatherings with the intention to socialize but depression tells you that sleep is much more enjoyable and that you do not have the energy to interact with anyone.
6 Anxiety tells you to overthink everything but depression makes you numb.
Having both is a living hell.
