The irony of radical environmentalism is that the policies that are enacted to pursue these radical ideals are often just as bad, if not worse, than the status quo.
Take, for example, offshore wind farms, that is, very large wind turbines placed offshore in the water. These are touted as a more efficient alternative to onshore wind turbines and are often used by Democrats to advance their radical environmental agenda across the nation.
Now sure, wind energy is great, but what's the cause of this? A lot of dead aquatic life. You see, the problem is that when you place large wind turbines on the water, it kills sea life. That, for example, is why Maryland state officials found two dead beached whales in the past three weeks amidst the development of offshore wind farms.
When will democrats learn how short sighted their policies are?
