Newcastle United Interested in Signing Aaron Ramsdale this Summer!
Newcastle United are showing interest in Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to 90min. The 25-year-old lost his starting spot at Arsenal to David Raya, who is on loan from Brentford.
Despite being linked with Chelsea this January, a move to Stamford Bridge seems unlikely for Ramsdale. West Ham United are also interested in the goalkeeper however they may now have to compete with Newcastle United as well.
Newcastle are currently managed by Eddie Howe. The manager previously signed Ramsdale for Bournemouth in 2019 and the manager is now considering him to strengthen his Newcastle squad with the Englishman.
While the current first-choice goalkeeper Nick Pope is on the sidelines, Martin Dubravka is currently starting games for Newcastle. However, Eddie Howe reportedly wants a younger shot-stopper and he prefers Ramsdale. The 25-year-old has had limited game time at Arsenal this season and wants more opportunities.
Still a key part of the England team, will Ramsdale consider a move to Newcastle United for more playing time and to keep his national team spot out of jeopardy? Let me know your thoughts...
