My Arsenal player of the season is Saka, here’s why.

Despite having a colder end to the season, which I personally put down to burnout, we wouldn’t be in the position we were in without him.

Not just our most prolific contributor with 13 goals and 11 assists but also the player who turned up most when it mattered. Goals against City, United (twice), Brighton and a brace against Liverpool quite nicely represent the way Saka dragged us out of tough times taking games by the scruff of the neck.

A player I truly believe has limitless potential and getting his new contract secured is a massive boost for us. Now we just need to give him an able deputy next season so we don’t run him into the ground when it matters most. Every Arsenal fan should be incredibly excited for what’s to come, I certainly am.
