La Liga to not have goal-line technology next season?

It seems that for the 2023-24 season, La Liga will not have the services of goal-line technology next season as well. This is seemingly because league president Javier Tebas is unwilling to pay the €3m fee needed to implement it. This is bizarre because goal-line technology has become an essential part of the modern game with huge consequences. In 2016-17, a mistake of a goal not being given despite the ball clearly going in, potentially cost Barcelona the title. In 2018-19, in the Premier League, goal-line technology identified that Liverpool hadn't scored against Manchester City by a margin of 11mm. This in the end decided the title.

Any mistake of such nature that occurs next season because of the league's misery will be very costly for Tebas. The reputation of La Liga has already taken a huge hit of late with all the regrettable racism instances and there is pressure on Tebas to resign.
