Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy and Commerce, Daniyar Amangeldiev, visited Kabul to meet with Taliban's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi. Discussions centered on boosting economic relations between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. Muttaqi appreciated Kyrgyzstan's policy towards Afghanistan and expressed a desire to strengthen trade ties.

Emphasizing the potential for increased export and import, Muttaqi and Amangeldiev explored opportunities for collaboration. The Kyrgyz delegation, invited by the Taliban’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, engaged in business negotiations with Afghanistan's private sector. Despite not officially recognizing the Taliban, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev previously urged Central Asian countries to enhance cooperation and coordination regarding Afghanistan.
