"It’s a massive game for both teams," Mikel Arteta ahead of Manchester City clash
Arsenal will travel to Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City on Sunday. Three teams- Liverpool, Arsenal and reigning champions Manchester City are separated by just a point in the title race, with just 10 matches remaining. Mikel Arteta believes that this is a massive fixture for both teams, however, there is still a long way to go after that.
Arsenal were humbled by Manchester City the last time they travelled to the Etihad Stadium, losing 4-1. Mikel Arteta also spoke about Kai Havertz's importance for the clash, as he stated that he has been doing a magnificent job this season. The German international has been playing in different positions, and scoring precious goals for his side.
"It’s a massive game for both teams, that’s for sure, because it will give us a huge push again if we go there and win it, but I still feel there is a long, long way after to make all the ground to win it."
"He’s been in great form. His overall performances have been really complete both for his country and us, and then his goalscoring threat obviously. It’s a player who has been playing different positions and fulfilling those roles in a great way. We will see how we use him for this game," Arteta on Havertz.
