Four questions that poet Lord Byron believes everyone should ask themselves at least once.
Question #1: What is the highest? Like, what is the most sacred to you?
Question #2: What are you made of?
Question #3: What would you live for?
And Question #4: What would you be willing to die for?
He goes on to say that if you know the answer to question #1, you will also know the answer to question #4, which is "what is the most sacred thing to you?" That is what you would be willing to die for.
What are you made of, if you know the answer to question #2? Then you'll know what you're willing to live for, which is the answer to question #3.
It gives you meaning and Byron says that the ideal answer to each of those questions is love. That's how you'll be truly happy. Because if love is the highest and you are made of it, then love is what you live for and the person you love is the person you die for.
Those are Lord Byron's four questions.
