EDAM Entertainment Apologizes and Announces Reforms Following IU Concert Ticket Controversy
EDAM Entertainment extends sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by our strict ticket verification procedures at IU's recent Seoul Solo Concert. We regret any disappointment caused to loyal fans and the artist herself.
In response to fan feedback, we're implementing changes:
Abolishing the "Secret Royal Inspector Policy": We'll end the reward system for illicit ticket trading and enhance internal monitoring. Simplified verification guidelines will be provided before future ticket sales, easing the process for fans.
Improving Identity Verification for Ticket Collection: We'll refine the process for minors and offer alternative verification methods for those unable to provide ID cards.
Reforming the Official Fan Club Expulsion Policy: We'll replace permanent expulsion with penalties, lifting previous expulsions except for cases of threats to the artist's safety or privacy invasion.
