Juventus have lost their legal case against Cristiano Ronaldo over unpaid salary that they owed to their former player. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via GET Football, Juventus owes Ronaldo €19.5 million in unpaid wages from his time at the club.
The Serie A giants cut the wages of Ronaldo and the other stars during the lockdown but never made up afterward. As per the report, Juventus surprisingly didn't have a budget set aside for this payment, assuming they would win the case. Now, they have to pay back the money owed to Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018, making a shock move from Real Madrid. The Portuguese international played 134 games for the Old Lady, scoing 101 goals in all competitions and helping the club win 2 Serie A titles among other accolades.
