ZVYSO Sports Extravaganza Ends with Grandeur: Dr. Kheshika Yepthomi Applauds Young Athletes
The 62nd annual sports meet of the Zhadima Village Youth & Sports Organisation (ZVYSO) concluded on a high note at the Zhadima Sports Complex. Dr. Kheshika Yepthomi, Deputy Director & Nodal Officer of NHM, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, graced the event as the guest of honor.
Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Dr. Yepthomi praised the impressive sports infrastructure and the budding young athletes in Zhadima Village. He extended his appreciation to sports enthusiasts, elders, and residents beyond the village for their support in nurturing aspiring players.
Acknowledging the vast opportunities in sports, Dr. Yepthomi encouraged athletes to be determined and give their best across various disciplines. The event witnessed spirited competitions, with Kimho Khel-II (A) clinching victory in men's football and Zhadima-II Khel securing the champions trophy for the second consecutive year in men's volleyball.
Basa Khel emerged triumphant in women's volleyball, and individual talents shone in table tennis and badminton categories. Neikhrietuo Albert Loucü and Kevilenuo Pfüsenuo claimed titles, adding to the sports fervor.
