You don't build muscle by spending hours in the gym on useless exercises.
You build muscle by lifting progressively heavier weights over time.
Stop doing 30 exercises a workout.
Stop doing anything that's not going to make your muscles stronger.
Because,
strength is what builds muscle. You can't lift 315
Ibs bench press with 165 lbs bench press
muscles.
It's impossible.
Your muscles have to get bigger in order to lift heavier weights.
That's why everything you do should be focused on one thing and one thing only - strength.
To top it off,
make getting stronger easy for you.
Pick exercises that you love and that you can get easily strong on. Go hard a couple of times per week on them and rest.
That's how simple it can be.
Life is too short to complicate things.
