Xavi Believes that Barcelona Can Still Win the LaLiga Title This Season!

Defending champions Barcelona are underperforming in LaLiga this season. They are currently third in the LaLiga table, eight points behind Real Madrid and one point behind Girona.

With just 11 games to go, Barcelona's chances of retaining their crown look slim. However, head coach Xavi Hernandez still believes that his side can defend their title. Talking to the media, the Spaniard said, "I don’t think LaLiga is lost. Tomorrow we have another opportunity to get closer to five points behind Real Madrid and be ahead of Girona. LaLiga is not lost, and we’re not throwing in the towel."

LaLiga leaders Real Madrid have lost some ground at the top, drawing games against Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, and Valencia over the past month. With the El Clasico also set to be played next month, it has to be seen if Barcelona can cover some more ground over their rivals in the coming matchdays.
