There has been absolute buzz and gossip about the Nitesh Tiwari film Ramayana! It is said it will be the Biggest Indian blockbuster, according to some reports.

The shoot of the film has already begun, and actress Akruti Singh took to her Instagram stories and shared a video from the film’s grand Ayodhya set which has been constructed in Mumbai. The video featured several glimpses of huge pillars and massive palace-like structures. In the caption of the video, Akruti wrote, “Ramayana day 1”. However, the video was deleted later.

On April 2, it was reported that Nitesh Tiwari performed a puja on sets following which he began shooting for the film with secondary actors. Ranbir, who will be playing the role of Lord Ram in the movie, is likely to join the shoot in the coming days.

Even though Nitesh Tiwari has not officially announced Ramayana as of now, the film has been making headlines for a long time now. While Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in this movie, Sai Pallavi has been roped in for the role of Sita. Prior to Sai, Ranbir’s actress-wife, Alia Bhatt was in talks for the role of Sita but she backed out due to dates-related issues.

KGF star Yash is also likely to play Ravana in the movie whereas Sunny Deol has reportedly been locked for the role of Hanuman. Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi are also reportedly in talks for the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhashana respectively. Arun Govil, popularly known for playing the role of Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, will now be stepping into the shoes of King Dashrath. Besides this, Lara Dutta will also be seen as Kaikeyi in the movie.
