Wayne Rooney Opens Up About His Intentions to Manage Manchester United!
Wayne Rooney has opened up about his intentions to coach at the highest level. Though things have not gone in the best way for the Englishman in his managerial career yet, however, Rooney still wants to coach the likes of Manchester United and Everton.
Talking to BBC One, Rooney said, "I definitely want to get back into management. The aim is to manage in the Premier League eventually, Manchester United or Everton are the dream jobs, but it's a process, In the next ten years, hopefully I can be in with a chance of taking one of the top jobs."
Rooney has had managerial roles with DC United, Derby, and Birmingham, however, his role with Birmingham was nothing short of disappointing. The Englishman agreed to this, stating, "It was a setback what happened at Birmingham but I'm a fighter. You know as a manager part of the job is being sacked and having setbacks and it's about how you bounce back. Maybe the timing wasn't right when I went in at Birmingham, the fans didn't accept me from day one."
Will Rooney ever get a chance to manage Manchester United? Let me know your thoughts...
