1 Include healthy drinks like amla juice in my diet. Amla contains lots of essential fatty acids that strengthen hair follicles, giving the hair strength and lustre. Drinking a glass of amla juice regularly reduce hair fall and strengthen the hair follicles from the root to the tip. Drinking amla juice daily is equally beneficial in stimulating hair growth.
2 I apply DIY masks regularly. Based on what my hair needs, I apply DIY mask regularly like once a week or once a fortnight. My favourite, quick masks are Oil + aloe vera gel OR Curd + Honey Mask.
3 Avoid tight hairstyles. Tight hairstyles pull your hair from the scalp and can weaken hair following resulting in traction alopecia. So always opt for loose, comfortable hairstyles.
4 DIY hair growth serum. I apply DIY hair growth serum once in 15 days. It really helps me a lot in maintaining my overall scalp and hair length. It helps in promoting hair growth, improving scalp health, reducing itchiness.
5 Adding essential oil. I always try to add a few drops of essential oil to my regular oil. Depending on what my hair needs I mostly add tea tree oil or rosemary oil to my oil to make it even more effective. It is the simplest thing you can do to maintain your hair health.
6 Warm oil treatment. While I oil my hair, I try to heat it using double boiler process first and then apply it. Hot oil treatments are great for stimulating blood flow as well as helping your hair to grow.
7 Include dry fruits in my diet. I always say, you cannot keep your hair healthy until and unless you eat a well balanced diet. So it is very important to include dry fruits such as walnuts, almonds, raisins in your diet.
