I love a good mystery of locked up rooms that are curse. A Chamber of Secrets which contains ancient monsters locked up with strong magic. Did you know one such locked door exists in India? Let me tell
you about it.
The Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is a famous Hindu temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, the
capital city of Kerala, India. It is renowned for its architectural beauty, religious significance, and its
association with the Travancore Royal Family.
One of the notable aspects of the Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is the presence of six vaults or chambers within its premises. These vaults, labeled A to F, are believed to hold immense wealth,
including gold, precious gemstones, and other valuable artifacts. The exact contents and their total value are not definitively known.
For a long time, all the vaults remained sealed, and their contents were shrouded in mystery. However, in 2011, the Supreme Court of India ordered an inventory of the temple's assets due to concerns about
their preservation and security. A committee was formed to open the vaults and assess their contents.
Five out of the six vaults were opened, and they revealed an astounding amount of wealth and historical artifacts. Gold idols, precious stones, antique jewelry, and other valuable items were discovered.
Estimates suggest that the total value of the treasures found in these vaults is worth billions of dollars.
However, Vault B, also known as the “Kallara B,” still remains unopened. It is believed to be the largest
and most mysterious of all the vaults. Legends and local folklore surround Vault B, suggesting that it is protected by a mythical curse, and opening it would bring disastrous consequences.
The decision to keep Vault B sealed was made due to various reasons, including the belief in the curse, concerns about damaging the artifacts during the opening process, and the need for further research
and planning to ensure the preservation of the temple’s treasure.
