Senegal under investigation before Round of 16 match against England

Before their World Cup last-16 encounter against England, Senegal is likely to get into trouble with FIFA. Every team in the competition must hold a "Matchday -1 Press Conference" in one of the two press conference rooms at the World Cup's main media centre the day before each of their matches.
The team's coach and a member of the squad, usually the captain, must attend these.
However, it was announced on Wednesday morning that the Senegalese Football association would be under investigation by FIFA for breaking World Cup rules before to the Ecuador encounter. Senegal eventually prevailed, and they will now play England on Sunday night at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
Prior to Senegal's match against the Netherlands in the tournament opener, Senegal forward Krepin Diatta and captain Koulibaly both made appearances with coach Aliou Cisse. However, he didn't have a player join him before the Ecuador game and spoke all by himself for around 40 minutes.
FIFA took a dim view of that and announced on Wednesday morning that disciplinary actions had been taken.
"The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has opened proceedings against the Senegalese Football Federation due to the potential breaches of article 44 of the Regulations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, article 2.7.2 of the Media and Marketing Regulations and article 8.5.3 of the Team Handbook," they said in a statement.
