From the age of 5, when I actually started watching TV shows and started understanding music and movies, I started with Dilip Kumar's movies. Every Sunday on DoorDarshan, me and my family used to watch a movie from the old age era. There were many movies telecast by the legendary Dilip Kumar. Movies like Ram aur Shyam, Madhumati, Kranti, Saudagar are my favourite ones. Dilip Kumar ji started his career during black and white movies and lived till today's graphic filled movies. His acting skills, dialogue delivery had given him applauds, praises with all love from audiences. People are crazy over their films till now. He was an inspiration for young generations. 

Being from Peshawar (now a part of Pakistan) he had his heart there as well. Few years ago we heard the news of his Peshawar's house which is now destroyed due to lack of care. During his time, acting wasn't a big profession, he however, honed his skill in acting and aced this field and conquered Mumbai. Truly, he was the guy next door actor character. This is why actress Saira Banu fell for him. She has been his support till his last rite. So Dilip Kumar has not only stories of acting but he was a romantic lover as well. This is also something youth of our generation wants to get. So in every aspect he is a legend for us. 

Remembering his movies, I think everyone would travel a journey from before the 60's to the 21st century. Oh my God! What a lifetime journey! Big life. 

I think Dilip Kumar will always be remembered even after 30 years because his legacy is irreplaceable. As rightly said "An artist always remains immortal." No one can replace or remove them. They create impact with their art skills and that picture does not fade away. An artist never dies. They will be with us with their work that they leave behind them. We should respect them. Dilip ji's work is a big contribution to Hindi cinema, it cannot be forgotten.
