In your 3rd Trimester your hair density and growth increases and some women feel that they've had the most beautiful hair in that period of their lifetime. But....... Post pregnancy, after 3-4 months most of the women experience sudden, massive hairfall which is called - Post partum telogen effluvium. But is that normal, will you get your hair back??

There are a few things you can take care of!
1) Protein - First is your nutrition, mainly protein. Make sure you are consuming 0.8 - 1 gm per kg body weight of protein.
2) Iron levels - Low iron levels can lead to poor hair re growth. Despite of iron supplementation during pregnancy, blood loss during child birth can have impact on iron levels.
3) Micronutrients - When it comes to hair growth your micros like zinc, manganese, biotin etc become really important, so make sure you have proper supplements.
4) Calcium and Vitamin D - Did you know hairloss is the only dermatological sign of Vit D deficiency. So do not miss out on this one.
