Almost all of us pluck that one grey hair to get rid of it, as we think if I have one grey hair, I am about to get a bunch of others. Well, that's certainly not the case. Also, you may instead end up hurting your scalp.
Grey hair results from pigment loss in that hair and won't affect the colour of your other hair. Also, plucking a grey hair won't cause the growth of ten others because there's only one hair per follicle. So does it mean you are free to keep plucking? Hell No!! Here's Why;
1 The follicle can become infected & lead to pustule formation.
2 Repeated plucking can lead to scarring, post-inflammatory pigmentation, and permanent hair loss in the affected area.
What can help?
Lifestyle changes like eating nutritious food, following a good haircare routine, refraining from damaging your hair from activities like bleaching, and protecting your hair from sun damage, can be helpful.
