Pat Cummins - the New SRH Captain

The last few months have been rather dreamy for the Australian Test Captain Pat Cummins. Now, to add another feather to his already decorated cap, the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has decided to appoint him the new Captain from the upcoming 2024 IPL season.

The Hyderabad based franchise was captained by South African T20I captain Aiden Markram last year. Experts are not happy with the decision of replacing Markram as captain after just a season, when he's proven himself in other leagues.

It'll be interesting to see how the team shapes up after Cummins comes in as captain, and how the /Markram performs in his redefined role.
