Continued....
Being in Afghanistan we instantly forgot about the tensed situation of covid, of course we were still following the covid regulations and were in quarantine for 14 days, but at least we have a house with a garden now where we would spend most of our time running around and chilling. The best thing about Afghan houses is that they always have a garden. Afghan people historically are rooted in organic farming and agriculture so it is a culture to have little garden in the house.
I distinctly remember the first night in Afghanistan; it was filled with joy, excitement and a very weird sense of anxiety.
We were up till late at night waiting for my father and brother to return from a family wedding which they were attending. My siblings and I were sitting in our garden admiring the beautiful sky which we didn’t see in Delhi. The high pollution in Delhi discounted us from spotting the stars at night. Kabul has less pollution as compared to Delhi so we were excited when we spotted so many stars in the sky.
Later on when I discovered the sky in Panjshir, I was instantly in love with it! ♥️It was magically and literally the most beautiful sky I had ever seen, it was close to the sky shown in the Avatar movie but I can bet the sky in Panjshir is more beautiful.
I think I will make another post on the sky of Panjshir because it deserves a separate post for sure. But I am afraid I won’t do justice to it, I am sure I will run out of words to describe its beauty.
Anyway,
Life seemed to be good in Afghanistan, I was contemplating whether I should start my career in Afghanistan or not. I knew for a fact that my parents would be highly worried if I told them that I want to stay in Afghanistan and start working here. My parents have always been supportive but when it comes to Afghanistan, they are scared.
