Palmer and Poch play down penalty drama

In last night's win over Everton, Chelsea got a penalty while 4-0 up. Cole Palmer who takes the penalties ordinarily had already scored a hattrick and an argument took place between him, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke about who was to take the penalty. Eventually Palmer took it and scored.

He addressed it after the game. "“I’m the penalty taker. I wanted to take it so I took it. Everyone wants to take responsibility. We ended up laughing and joking about it but the manager has spoken to us about it now”.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino also spoke about it, "Palmer is the penalty taker. It won’t happen again, can’t behave like kids again. It’s a shame. I told the players this is the last time I will accept this type of behaviour. This is not a joke”.
