Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha Elections, the 2019 elections were held in four phases in the state from April 11 to 29.
In the first phase on April 11 the polling was for Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur, Koraput. In the second phase on April 18, the Lok Sabha seats of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Aska went to polls. On April 23, elections were held for six Lok Sabha seats -- Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, Bhubaneswar. In the fourth and final phase on April 29, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur went to polls.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the 21 seats were scattered. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won 12 seats out of 21, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 8 seats, and UPA led Indian National Congress won only a single seat.
In 2024 also, the Lok Sabha Elections will be held in 4 phases in Odisha from 13 May 2024 to 1 June 2024 electing 21 members .
