Oldie but goldie. Biscuit based desserts were something my mom quickly whipped up for us in no time, she'd add fruits cream/ cream cheese or whatever was easily available to her. And this is that exact dessert fix you need which has all ingredients easily available to you!
All you need;
- 15-20 Biscuits
- 1/2 cup Hot milk for soaking the biscuits
- 1.5cups Milk
- 1/2cup Fresh Cream
- 3tbsp Cornflour
- 1/4 cup Sugar or more - depending on how sweet you like it.
- 1tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 3/4cup Dark/ Milk Chocolate
Steps to follow;
q Whisk everything together in a pan, except the chocolate, heat till it thickens and comes to a good boil. Take it off heat, add the chocolate, let it sit for 2 mins and whisk till there are no lumps.
2 Start to dunk the biscuits in hot milk and layer your mould making sure it's completely covered. Pour the chocolate mixture over this covering the biscuits, repeat the process till you reach the top of the mould.
3 Let it chill in the fridge for 1-2hours. Or you can serve it immediately.
4 Garnish with grated chocolate and serve!
