वक़्त

ये वक़्त जो अभी हाथों से, यूँ ही निकल रहा है,

आने वाले वक़्त में , ये भी याद आएगा |

कभी होठों पे मुस्कान , कभी आँखों में नमीं,

कभी खुद पर नाज़, तो कभी खुद से शिकवा करा जायेगा |

क्या बाद में इस वक़्त को याद करना जरुरी है, .

क्यों न इस वक़्त को, आज अभी पूरा जी लें | .

इस वक़्त को हाथ में थामकर तो नहीं रख सकता, .

पर इस वक़्त से, आने वाले वक़्त को, बना जरूर सकता हूँ | .

आईने में खड़े उस इंसान से रूबरू होकर, .

उसके हर सवाल का जवाब जरूर सकता हूँ | .

ऐ वक़्त, अगर तू मेरा साथ दे, .

तो हर दिल में अपनी जगह बना कर, रह जरूर सकता हूँ |
