Refusal to eat is relatively normal in children. Granted, this process can be a stressful time for families, but it usually goes away with time. However, this might not always be the case. Depending on how long the problem persists, or if there is suspicion that there could be another underlying cause, it would be wise to talk to your pediatrician to rule out other causes.
