We are aware about how our health constitutes of both physical and mental health. And when we struggle with our mental health we tend to isolate and withdraw ourselves from everyone else.
Do you tend to disappear when things get difficult?
Do you unanswer your messages for a while? Do you feel like you are becoming rude or distant when your physical and or mental pain is really bad?
We may not realise that what we are doing is causing pain, as we disconnect from here and now, there wouldn't be a room for social niceties and no energy to maintain a conversation.
The kindest thing what you can do for yourself is to take time, detox yourself from social media and accept the fact that you are in pain and breathe.
If you care for someone who is struggling with their health, and they disappear, don't answer the phone, or reply to texts and messages.
If you care for someone who is struggling with their health, and if they disappear, don't answer the phone or reply to the text messages you have send, then understand their situation as they need some space. As they are struggling with health and it is as normal as to not being updated with their loved ones. This doesn't mean they don't care about you or are not thinking about you. Like how we get ill with fever we tend not to look through our phones as we would want more rest, similarly our mental health would not want to respond to everyone.
