According to Marca via GET Football, Manchester United officials are in Spain trying to make a deal for Mason Greenwood. The English giants are reportedly looking to sell the forward for €50m.
The United officials have reportedly met with Barcelona and will now talk to Greenwood's agents in Getafe to get a resolution regarding the striker's future. Other teams including Atletico Madrid and Saudi Arabian clubs, are interested. Getafe wants Greenwood to stay but they won't be able to pay up €50m.
Since being loaned to Getafe, Greenwood has been impressive. The Englishman has a total of 13 goal contributions in 23 games this season for the Spanish club. United's asking price is reportedly too much for Getafe, Barcelona, or Atlético Madrid as the clubs have other positions to focus on as well.
Greenwood also wants to play in European competitions, especially the Champions League. But he's also happy at Getafe and might stay on loan. Where will we see the 22-year-old playing his football next season? Let me know your thoughts...
