Man United News: Varane Injured, Will Return Only in May!
Manchester United's defence is facing another major challenge with Raphael Varane sidelined due to a muscle injury, adding to a season already marked by fitness issues. The Red Devils have suffered a torrid season in regards to injuries and this has seriously halted the clubs progress.
Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have been out for much of the season, leaving United without a natural left-back. The centre-back situation is also problematic, with Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans, and now Varane dealing with injuries.
Injury crisis forced United to field teenager Willy Kambwala alongside Harry Maguire as the centre-back pair in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend. The duo is expecred to line up once again for the Red Devils in the coming games.
Varane's return is not expected until May, leaving United with limited options in defence for upcoming matches. With games against Bournemouth, Coventry, Sheffield United, and Burnley scheduled before the end of this month, it has to be seen if Erik Ten Hag will make any chances to his formation to make Manchester United more sustainable and effective in the coming games.
