Mainoo to join England senior squad

Manchester United's prodigious teenager Kobbie Mainoo was handed a promotion to the England senior set up. At first he had been called up to the England u21 side but now Gareth Southgate has called him up to senior side.

Mainoo has broken through at Manchester United this season, changing their midfield dynamics. He's 18 but his calm and maturity in the game is unbelievable for someone of his age and experience. Against Liverpool recently, Mainoo bossed the midfield and it is probably on the basis of that, he has been called up to the senior team.
