Salah's return to training is a huge boost for Liverpool!
Great news for Liverpool fans!
Hopefully, Salah stays fit for the upcoming matches.
Salah has played just once for Liverpool since picking up a hamstring injury playing for Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. His only appearance was against Brentford last month where the club registered a 4-1 win. He came on as a substitute and contributed with a goal and assist.
On Wednesday, the 31-year-old rejoined training which came as a huge relief for his club ahead of their crucial fixtures this week against Sparta Prague and Manchester City in the Europa League and the Premier League respectively. Now, the forward has been among the travelling contingent that departed John Lennon Airport on Wednesday afternoon for the Czech Republic.
The star attacker has been called up by Egypt for their upcoming international matches as they are all set to compete in the inaugural edition of the Winsunited Cup in Abu Dhabi between March 22-26. The Reds had requested the Egyptian FA rest the player but their plea was rejected. The FA has now claimed that they are unable to communicate with Salah.
