The first K-drama that I watched was Descendants of the sun but the show that pulled me into the starry world of K-entertainment was Boys Over Flowers starring Lee min ho. You might be wondering who is Lee Min Ho? Lee Min Ho is the megastar of Korean Industry. He gained widespread popularity in Korea and parts of Asia with his role Gu Jun Pyo, a bad boy with a good heart back in 2009 and since then he is recognised as the superstar of K-drama. There are millions and millions of girls who are crushing on him. He is not just cute, rather that’s the understatement. He is gorgeous- from his personality to his acting skills. And when I say he is popular, I mean Robert Downey Jr/Brad Pitt/Shah Rukh Khan/Henry Cavill aka Superman popular, maybe more, who knows?

Lee Min Ho has done a wide variety of projects, from tv dramas to movies to web series to even releasing his own music albums. He started his career in 2003, with supporting roles in Sharp, Recipe of love[ 2004] and Student campus [2006]. He got into a car accident in 2006, where he was critically injured and took a break from his acting career and after recovery restarted his acting with two shows in 2007 and finally got a breakthrough in 2009 with his superb acting skills and bad boy attitude in Boys Over Flowers and ever since then he’s on a continued success.

Boys Over Flowers is a good watch, for a 2009 K-drama the storyline is pretty mainstream, a rich boy falling in love with a poor girl and his influential family against their relationship but I still totally love the show because we have GU JUN PYO in it which makes the show all the more better. There wasn’t a single moment where I didn’t hate-love him. His later dramas are really nice, The Heirs has a similar vibe like BOF but City Hunter and Legend of the Blue Sea are super awesome. Lee Min Ho is a GEM and you need his CHARM in your life!
