Juventus Consider Thiago Motta as Manager Max Allegri's Replacement!
Juventus are considering replacing Max Allegri as their manager due to the team's recent performance. SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla mentioned that Thiago Motta, currently managing Bologna, is a top contender for the position. Motta's contract with Bologna ends this season, and although his club wants to extend it, negotiations have not progressed.
The 41-year-old is gaining attention from other European clubs seeking new managers. Owing to this, Juventus would have to decide quickly whether to let go of Allegri and hire Motta. The Bianconerri's biggest problem is the financial implications of paying up if they cut short Allegri's contract. However, Juventus qualifying for the 2025 Club World Cup could offset some of these costs.
Having joined Bologna in 2022, Motta has had a great time at the club. His side is currently fourth in the Serie A table, just five points behind Juventus, with a substantially lower budget.
Will Motta be a good fit at Juventus if he does join up? Let me know your thoughts...
