Royal Challengers Bengaluru's season looks done for good, as they find themselves stranded at the bottom of the table with just one win following their 1-run loss against arch-rivals, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) where they started off the 223 run chase well but once again, failed to capitalize the start.
In the post-match interview, RCB captain, Faf du Plessis looked unhappy over Virat Kohli's controversial wicket that left him livid.
Faf on Kohli's controversial dismissal
"It's crazy. Rules are rules, Virat and myself in that space thought the ball was higher than his waist. I guess they measured from the popping crease, you always find one team happy and the other not so with such decisions. That's how the game goes at times," said Faf.
Talking about the crucial partnership between Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar and how they faltered after their wickets, du Plessis admitted that they panicked because of their situation in the tournament.
"The partnership was magnificent, but when you don't win too many games, some sort of panic sets in. The Narine over was game-changing."
Looking at some positives from the game, he asserted how they bowled and fielded well for keeping KKR on par score which was chasable.
Thanking the fans for their support, the Proteas legend said that they'd keep going and put all their efforts to make their fans happy.
