Introversion is a personality trait marked by a preference for solitude, deep thinking, and a limited need for external stimulation. Introverts enjoy spending time alone or with a few close friends, engaging in introspective activities.
HOW INTROVERSION DIFFERS FROM SHYNESS?
Since both introversion and shyness are marked by low levels of social engagement, people frequently confuse the two. Shy people usually desire to interact with people but are afraid to do so. Shy individuals are very mindful of themselves and are readily restrained by others. In contrast, a lot of introverts find it easy to socialise. They simply would rather do it in small groups, occasionally or not at all.
