'Injured' Harry Kane Will Join Up with England Squad for Brazil, Belgium Friendlies!
Harry Kane is set to join the England squad for their March internationals despite an ankle injury he got while playing for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians confirmed that Kane has traveled to join the squad for their friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. The 30-year-old suffered the ankle injury during Bayern's 5-2 win over Darmstadt when he collided with the goalposts.
Bayern's coach, Thomas Tuchel, mentioned that Kane slipped and fell into the net, twisting his ankle. Despite the injury scare, Kane's availability for the England squad comes as a relief for manager Gareth Southgate. Kane will play a crucial role for England as they prepare for Euro 2024 with matches against Brazil and Belgium.
Both games will be held at Wembley Stadium, marking Kane's return to England after his move to Bayern in 2023. He has been in excellent form in the Bundesliga, scoring 37 goals in all competitions this season and setting numerous records. However it has to be seen if Southgate will risk playing Kane amidst injury concern in these friendlies!
