Saturday night was a roller coaster of emotions, with nail-biting finishes at the home of the champions to City Ground. So here are the three talking points from Saturday's fixture.
3) Tielemans only scores bangers.
Leicester seems to have hit form at the right moment as they made light work of Everton and continued their impressive run. Prior to the slip-up against City, the foxes had won their previous two matches, playing that extravagant football. And the foxes' revolution continues to thrive under the leadership of Tielemans. The Belgian, linked with a move away from King Power, again scored a screamer worthy of a Puskas. Barnes netted in the second, and Maddison was again outstanding.
2) Drama, like in the olden days.
Emotions were on the floor as the PL witnessed one of the most thrilling Saturday fixtures. Elland Road and City Ground erupted as both clubs produced a comeback for the ages. Leeds turned around a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 against high-flying Bournemouth. And Forest left it late to earn a crucial point against Brentford.
Whereas, ten men Wolves could not keep out the silky Brighton side that is proving to be a menace this season. The Dingles lead the Seagulls kudos to Guedes and a Neves penalty. But their joy was short-lived as Gross scored the crucial winner to break Wolves heart. After the demolition of Chelsea, this comeback away from home will boost the seagull's confidence. Life is good at the South Coast
1) Haaland wins it for City.
Manchester City again displayed their elite mentality as they scrapped a result against a resilient Fulham. New signing Alvarez gave City an early lead before Fulham equalized through a penalty. The champions were oozing until the Cancelo red card. The sending off of the Portuguese proved to be a match-changing decision, as ten men City struggled to slice open Fulham. It was proving to be one of those depressing days for City, owing to the red card, missed chances, and the disallowed goal. Until Robinson clipped De Bruyne inside the D-box and up stepped Erling Haaland to send City to the top of the Premier League.
