How did today feel any different, a friend asked on women’s day.
I felt the same. The day went by not too fast too slow. It had the same pace, same energy, same emotions- may be worse not any better .
I got a few messages in friends groups some personal but nothing excited me .
Womenhood is being celebrated on a particular day, some feel it should be celebrated everyday, some feel woman needs not be celebrated at all .
So what are we celebrating- empowerment, being women or actually trying to be like men.
Being a woman is difficult, be it in personal or professional life.
Men want to either preach or patronise, and if you are strong no one can handle it.
Actually your strength highlights their weaknesses.
Like someone rightly said stronger men make feminine women, women who are safe and secure.
But today’s women are surrounded by weak men, who tend to make women more masculine .
And when you become masculine , ofcourse they can’t handle it .
