German FA Want to Extend Nagelsmann Contract Unitl 2026 Amid Interest from Multiple Clubs!
As per @iMiaSanMia, The DFB (German Football Association) want to try everything to extend Julian Nagelsmann's contract. Concrete talks are scheduled for the next few days. Neuendorf, Völler and Rettig all want to keep Nagelsmann. The plan is to offer him a new deal until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
This move by the German FA comes after speculations regarding the future of Nagelsmann. Top clubs including the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Manchester United have been linked to the manager and hence the DFB wants to end all speculation.
Nagelsmann's Germany beat France (2-0) and the Netherlands (2-1) in a couple of friendlies in March. These results have boosted the DFB's trust on the manager and hence they want to keep him until the World Cup. Waiting to offer Nagelsmann a new deal based on the Euro 2024 results would mean that the manager would get ample time to talk to different clubs and even sign a pre-contract.
Will Germany be able to keep a hold of their current manager after the European championship? Let me know your thoughts...
