Famous actor, director and Padmashree awardee Sadhu Mehar has passed away.  The 84-year-old veteran breathed his last at his Mumbai residence on Friday.  Sadhu Mehar has made significant contributions to both Bollywood and Odia cinema.  There is a wave of mourning in both the industries due to the demise of the veteran.  Fans and stars of the entertainment world are also paying tribute to Mehar.Sadhu Mehar's career includes a variety of roles.  He rose to prominence in Hindi films like 'Bhuvan Shome', 'Ankur' and 'Mrigaya'.  Meher was also awarded the National Award for Best Actor for his stellar performance in 'Ankur'.  He also enthralled the audiences in Oriya cinema by starring in Sabyasachi Mohapatra's National Award winning 'Bhukha'.
