Manchester City star and the 2023 Ballon d'Or runner up, Erling Haaland has claimed that it was impossible to predict the future when asked about leaving the Sky Blues. The strikee has contract with the club until 2027 however there have been potential talks about a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Talking to the media, Haaland admitted that he was happy at City. The Norwegian said, "I'm 23 and I won everything and I got a taste of it how it is to win and how I work is that when I feel this, I want to win it again. I'm really happy, especially with the people that I'm surrounded by. The manager, the directors, the board are a group of amazing people and I'm really happy."
However, Haaland did throw in a 'headline' statement, adding, "If I say this now, it is probably going to be a massive headline... tomorrow, you never know what the future brings but I'm happy and you can write this but you also have to write everything I said right before."
Manchester City are looking to extend the strikers contract however it has to be seen if Haaland does decide to make the move to Spain in a season or two from now.
