E'LAST's management company, E Entertainment, has announced plans to sue tour organiser MC Entertainment after the group's last-minute New York concert was cancelled.
The announcement comes after two weeks of horror stories about MC Entertainment, the Puerto Rican-based local promotion company in charge of organising E'LAST's North American tour.
E'LAST kicked off their "THRILL" North American tour earlier this month with a show in Los Angeles. Despite the excitement of fans for the opportunity to see E'LAST, many concertgoers complained afterwards about MC Entertainment's handling of the event, with some reporting that they had been duped.
According to fan accounts, the concert began more than three hours late and ended less than two hours later, with fans reportedly being kicked out without receiving merchandise for which they had already paid. Furthermore, the meet-and-greet and high-touch events that were supposed to take place after the concert never happened.
Some fans reported that the E'LAST members left the venue crying, and Wonhyuk even alluded to the fact that the night had not gone as planned in a post-concert tweet.
Then, earlier this week, due to safety concerns, E'LAST was forced to cancel their Atlanta concert at the last minute. At a time when the concert was supposed to start, it was announced that the makeshift stage that had been set up at the venue was unsafe for the idols to perform on.
Despite the fact that the situation was not their fault, the members of E'LAST apologised profusely to fans during the fan signing event and hi-touch event that followed. E'LAST's agency E Entertainment added later in the night, "For fans who would like refunds, we ask that you make refund requests through MC Entertainment."
