The newly elected British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is reportedly the first prime minister who is richer than the monarch in Buckingham Palace.

Although Sunak is many of firsts in Modern History with sitting in a fortune of 730,000,000 pounds, that's twice the estimated wealth of King Charles III.

According to Labour MP Madia Whittome, King Charles III has a net worth around £388,491,400.

The wealth Sunak posses is not by himself its with his wife Akshata Murthy, the daughter of Infosys co-founder, Narayana Murthy.

As per media reports, the couple's wealth is Murthy's 0.9℅ stake in her father's firm.

Britain's opposition, Labour party took jibe on Sunak over his vast family wealth and past career in investment funds.

"Remember this whenever he talks about making “tough decisions” that working class people will pay for," Whittome tweeted.
