Dahi wada for todays iftaar🌙♥️
Soft and Spongy Dahi Wada😋
INGREDIENTS
250 gm urad dal
Salt to taste
1 tsp grated ginger
2 green chillies
Water to soak vadas-3 cups water
1 pinch asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp black salt
Other components-Oil for frying
1 pinch chaat masala
1 pinch cumin powder
1 pinch red chilli powder
NOTE THE FOLL-
- Use minimal water for grinding the dal, the paste should be very slightly coarse, finer than semolina.
- Use a beater to beat the paste until doubled in size it saves much effort and energy)
- Heat the oil over high temperature, then lower it to medium flame and fry the wadas
* Cool the wadas before soaking it in water.
After frying and soaking serve the wadas with tamarind chutney, green chutney and sweetened curd.
