Cinematography and distortion of facts are two different things and should not go hand in hand

Point of view on 'The Kerala Story'

The Kerala Story, directed by Sudipto Sen, has sparked a row, with protesters, including students, on the distortion of facts in the mvoie.

Freedom of speech in the Cinematography and distortion of facts are two different things. 

No one is against the freedom of speech in the movie, but misinformation is not acceptable. 

A visual medium is  a powerful  messenger and so, some movies, despite portraying misinformed facts, might make people believe what they are watching is reality.
