Bayern Munich Give Alphonso Davies Time Limit to Sign a New Contract!
Bayern Munich has given left-back Alphonso Davies a deadline until the end of this month to decide on his future with the club, as reported by Sky Sports. Davies has only 18 months left on his current contract, and Bayern want to extend it.
However, Real Madrid are keen on signing the left-back and are hoping he rejects Bayern's offer to force a sale at a lower price. If Davies refuses the contract extension by the end of March, he will be put up for transfer. Davies is reportedly asking for a €20 million yearly contract, while Bayern's offer is around €14 million, which they are not willing to increase.
Among Bayern's potential replacements mentioned are AC Milan's Theo Hernandez and Chelsea's Ian Maatsen. The Bavarians have set an asking price of at least €50 million or Davies as per the report. Several Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Manchester City, are interested, but Real Madrid are currently leading the race for Davies.
