As far as I have noticed till date, majority of the grounds in Assam are allocated to cricket and not football and I think that is one major drawback football players in Assam face these days.

Even the small number of football grounds there are in Assam, they are all located in the outskirts of Assam in areas which often go unrecognized by players. Majority of the talented faces who are originally from Assam and are playing the Isl, they are playing and going forward with their own hard work and with the least amount of aids on behalf of the higher authorities who holds the capability to support these players.

I feel like voicing these issues out loud is extremely necessary for the betterment of football particularly in Assam and it is we who should ideally bring out these problems in the limelight to get recognized otherwise many talented heads in Assam will go unrecognized and won't be even given a chance to showcase themselves on higher platforms.
