2024 Will Be a Big Year for Indian Football!

The Indian National football team has been on the rise in the past decade. Currently ranked 102 in the FIFA rankings, the year 2024 will be one of the biggest and most important ones yet for the Blue Tigers.

To start off 2024, India will be participating the the AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. The Blue Tigers have already travelled and there they will be facing Australia, Uzbekistan, and Syria in the group stage.

Having finished fourth in their group in the 2019 Asian Cup, India would certainly be hungry to at least reach the knockout stage this time around on the back of a positive year in 2023.

After the Asian Cup, India are also competing in the FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. After 2 games, The Blues Tigers are currently third and only the top two teams will qualify for the next round.
